Guides
Read before you order
These guides are here so you can choose a sitting without being rushed. Mama Maria writes tarot and medium readings on Etsy, through Reset Your Mind Store, in the same calm voice you will find on the rest of this site. Nothing here is a substitute for medical, legal, or financial advice. Readings are for entertainment and spiritual reflection.
If you are deciding between tarot and mediumship, start with the comparison. If you already know you want cards, read how to ask. If you have been burned by fear-selling, the scam guide will name the pattern without naming other shops. When you are ready, the matching reading page and the Etsy shop are the next honest step.
Basics
What is a tarot reading?
A structured look at a living question — written so you can keep it after the first jolt.
Read the articleHow does a tarot reading work?
Cards, a question, and a written letter — how a sitting actually moves from Etsy box to message.
Read the articleTarot reading vs psychic reading
Cards as a structured lens, versus a sitting that leans on extra-sensory claims. How to choose.
Read the articleWhich tarot cards mean yes, no, or not yet?
Yes, no, and the third answer people skip: not yet, with a condition attached.
Read the articleCan tarot predict the future?
Weather, not a calendar stamp. What a year-ahead sitting will and will not promise.
Read the articleDoes tarot take away free will?
A reading names the weather. You still walk. Fate-talk is not how this table works.
Read the articleTarot cards vs oracle cards
A numbered, structured deck versus looser prompt cards. What Mama Maria actually uses.
Read the articleWhat is the Celtic Cross tarot spread?
A ten-position map of a situation — useful when the question is wide, not theatrical.
Read the articleHow does a three-card tarot spread work?
Past, present, and the fork ahead — a small spread that still writes a full letter.
Read the articleWhat do reversed tarot cards mean?
Not a curse. A delayed, inward, or blocked current — named without fear-selling.
Read the articleMajor Arcana vs Minor Arcana
The weather system versus the daily furniture. Both belong in an honest written sitting.
Read the articleTiming in tarot without a calendar date
Seasons, stalls, and due conversations — timing that does not pretend to be a diary.
Read the articleWhat is a tarot reading medium?
A plain-language definition of the work, the limits, and how Mama Maria practices.

The sittings
Written tarot reading vs live tarot reading
A letter you can reread versus a call that evaporates in the car. Why Mama Maria writes.
Read the articleWhat “not yet” means in a yes-or-no sitting
The third answer: a condition, a wait, and why it is not a polite no.
Read the articleTarot vs medium reading
What changes when a sitting includes spirit contact — and what a tarot reading still does better.

How to sit
How to prepare for a tarot reading
A first name, a real question, and a quiet minute. Preparation without ritual shopping.
Read the articleHow to read a written tarot sitting after you receive it
First jolt, second read, what to keep. How to live with a letter instead of arguing with it.
Read the articleHow often should you get a tarot reading?
When a new sitting is useful, and when you are only shopping for a kinder no.
Read the articleCan you ask tarot about someone else?
A name in the box is allowed. Surveillance is not. What is yours to ask.
Read the articleShould you repeat the same question?
When a second sitting is a new fork, and when it is only hoping the first letter was a draft.
Read the articleWhat to do after a hard reading
Do not order a kinder rewrite. Reread, wait, then take the one small step that is yours.

Trust
Are tarot readings accurate?
Accuracy without 100% theatre: what a written sitting can name, and what it will not stamp.
Read the articleAre online tarot readings real?
Distance does not make the work fake. Writing in Etsy messages is the whole sitting, not a lesser copy.
Read the articleCan tarot replace therapy?
No. Spiritual reflection is not a clinician. Where a sitting helps, and where it must stop.
Read the articleIs tarot a scam — or are some readers?
The tool is not the con. Fear, fake urgency, and second-product ladders are.
Read the articleDo distance tarot readings work?
You do not have to sit across a table. A written sitting is already distance work.
Read the articleCold reading vs a written sitting
Barnum sentences vanish in a PDF. Specific writing has to survive the morning.
Read the articleCan AI tarot replace a human written reading?
A generator can shuffle phrases. It cannot sit with your actual Tuesday and refuse a lie.

What to look for in client notes: specificity, limits, and no fear-selling.
